DumaTau, meaning ‘roar of the lion,’ is a ten-roomed (eight twin and two family) luxury tented camp located in the private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve that borders the western boundary of Chobe National Park. DumaTau Camp is raised off the ground to take advantage of the fantastic river views. Each en-suite tent is spacious, spreading out under a canvas roof, with clear-storey sliding doors and windows that allow for wide-angled views of the riverfront. There is an airy, expansive dining and lounge area and a pool, all overlooking the lagoon and its denizens. DumaTau has a very light carbon footprint and runs on solar energy.

Named for Scandinavian royalty, this luxurious and stylish camp overlooks the oxbow-shaped Kings Pool Lagoon and Linyanti River system. Nine well-appointed rooms (including a family room) of canvas and thatch each have a large en-suite bedroom, outdoor shower and lounge. Activities include day and night game drives, walks (depending on qualified guide availability), and nearby hides, ideal for photographing birds and wildlife. In the dry season, guests can spend their siesta watching game come down to drink at the unique underground hide, where the water is at eye level.

The Linyanti Bush Camp offers the perfect setting for an authentic and wild safari experience. Bordering the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave, the Linyanti Bush Camp is an intimate 12-bedded tented camp on the banks of the Linyanti marshes in a private reserve. Activities from the camp include game drives, walking safaris, game viewing from hides, spot-lighting, bird watching, boating and fishing safaris as well as guided mokoro safaris, when water levels permit.
