Day 1 – 4: Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, Sabi Sands Game Reserve

 

A short shared chartered flight from Johannesburg guests will fly guests to the unforgettable, breathtakingly beautiful Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge situated in the big 5 game reserve of the Sabi Sands, where they will spend the next three nights in luxury.

Deep in the African bushveld, within South Africa’s famous Sabi Sand Reserve,‘something enchanting lies in wait’ – the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. The clean lines and natural finishes are the perfect foil for the luxury, grandeur and lavish touches that epitomise Earth Lodge – individual splash pools for each suite, a butler, ultra-luxurious bathrooms, magnificent wooden carvings, sculpted furniture and an underground wine cellar that is home to over 6,000 bottles of rare, special wines. Everything is inspired by nature – impala horn shapes for table legs, water lily leaf shapes for table designs, tree branches for countertops. Day 4 – 7: Somalisa Camp, Zambia

 

After breakfast and a short road transfer, guests will fly to Livingstone airport from where they will get a connecting chartered flight to the exquisite Somalisa Camp, home for the next three nights.

Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of Hwange National Park, and is known as the land of the giants for its big elephant herds. Nestled in a stunning location tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, Somalisa provides guests with breath-taking views of the savannah plains across the famous Kennedy Vlei line. Recently re-built, Somalisa Camp has upgraded its level of accommodation to that of complete comfort and luxury whilst still maintaining its focus on the guiding and hosting of guests to ensure the ultimate guest experience.

Consisting of seven elegantly furnished Sail Tents with gauze sliding doors, a glass wood-burner fireplace for the cold winter nights, and an overhead fan for the hot summer days, each tent has en suite bathroom facilities including flush toilets, an indoor and outdoor shower, as well as a copper slipper-style bathtub. The main decking area includes split level decking with a separate lounge and dining area, as well as a small splash pool for guests overlooking the “Elephant Pool” and a natural waterhole where herds of game congregate to drink and where guests can relax whilst soaking in the African bush.

Activities include guided walks lead by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, game drives and night drives. Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species.

Day 7 – 10: Royal Livingstone Hotel, Zambia

 

After a scrumptious breakfast guest will fly back to Livingstone Airport by a chartered plane, where they will met by a Royal Livingstone representative and transferred to the stunning Royal Livingstone Hotel, home for the next 3 nights.

On the banks of the Zambezi River, The Royal Livingstone Hotel is named after the legendary explorer who named Zambia’s iconic waterfall in honour of his queen. Paying tribute to this glorious era, this hotel evokes Victorian elegance and colonial traditions in impeccable style, and offers unforgettable adventures.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel comprises 173 spacious en-suite guestrooms, each with its own private veranda, stretched along the river bank. Day 10 – 14: &Beyond Benguerra Island Resort, Mozambique

 

After breakfast and a short road transfer back to Livingstone, guests will embark on a very exciting plane journey to Vilanculas via Johannesburg, this is followed by a short helicopter transfer to the magical Benguearra Island resort where they will spend the next 4 nights.

An exquisite piece of paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean, &Beyond Benguerra Island is a luxury beach holiday destination where time stands still and legends come to life.

Situated on the second largest island in the sunny Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique, the lodge is set in a protected marine conservation area and offers pristine beaches and unspoiled coral reefs teeming with marine life. Looking out onto a sandy beach and set on a deep lagoon unaffected by the tides, this exclusive beach getaway is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Surrounded by premier diving sites, the lodge is the gateway to an underwater wonderland for divers, with a rich variety of tropical fish species complemented by Africa’s only population of the rare dugong. Day 14: Homeward bound
